LexCare reserves a portion of all proceeds for their sister non-profit, Songs for Sound, to build hearing healthcare systems in developing nations.

Many children with hearing loss or deafness in developing nations are often pushed aside or left behind. Developing nations have little to no hearing healthcare professionals, much less a hearing healthcare system. In Jamaica, there is one audiologist nearing retirement. In the entire Caribbean, there are a total of four audiologists. Since 2014, we have been serving and building a model to start hearing healthcare systems in developing nations.

Our mission is to reach all children because no child should miss out on optimal literacy, reaching their greatest potentials and connecting with all of their friends.

One of the extensions of our sister organization, Songs for Sound charity's outreach, is partnering with audiology clinics nationwide to do humanitarian work in their communities. Our partnership with The Ohio State University Graduate Program and Dr. Gail Whitelaw's team is important. Dr. Whitelaw's clinic provides free hearing care for at-risk youth in the state of Ohio.
Even better, the graduate students get to put their learning to work. They also partner with the Songs for Sound Hear the Music Project and mobile clinic. Each time you participate in our hearing healthcare platform, you are helping to give back to programs like this.

Betty is a 90 year old widow, grandmother, mother, sister and friend to many. Betty's story of faith and overcoming adversity may be one of the most inspiring stories you'll ever hear. Yet Betty and her daughter, Beth, made her hearing health a priority. Our partnership with Dr. Randi Yontz of Aspire Audiology allowed us to serve Betty remotely. Now, because of her hearing aids, Betty is thriving because she can hear.
